Transport minister calls for discussing possibility of operating Amman Civil Airport

Minister of Transport, Wajih Azaizeh, stressed the need to discuss the possibility of operating Amman Civil Airport in the future through devising a clear and timely practical plan by the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) and the Jordan Airports Company (JAC).

in a tour at the Amman Civil Airport on Sunday, the minister discussed the development of participatory efforts between various authorities operating the airport, stressing the need to work together in accordance with the civil aviation law in force, instructions issued thereunder, and international obligations to ensure the security and safety of civil aviation, according to a ministry statement.

Azaizeh, who was accompanied by CARC Chief Commissioner, Haitham Misto, and JAC CEO, Ahmad Azzam, was briefed on latest developments and the work flow at the airport.
