Amman: Minister of Transport, Dr. Nidal Qatamin, engaged in discussions with the Dutch Ambassador to Jordan, Stella Kluth, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various transport sectors.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting, which took place at the ministry's headquarters, highlighted the importance of developing cooperation in land, maritime, and air transport modes. Additionally, regional rail connectivity projects with Arab countries were discussed as a means to bolster regional integration and stimulate trade.
Qatamin outlined several strategic projects currently underway in the transport sector. These initiatives aim to develop transport infrastructure and upgrade logistics services, enhancing Jordan's position as a regional hub for transport and services.
Ambassador Kluth expressed the Netherlands' appreciation for the strong relations with Jordan. She affirmed her government's commitment to expanding cooperation, particularly in transport, by exchanging technical expertise and supporting mutually beneficial projects.
