A training course in the field of community care for maternal and newborn health began in Taiz governorate, organized by the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate for 15 midwives working in health facilities in the Shara’ab al-Runa districts with funding from UNICEF.
The 20-day course aims to reduce the rate of maternal and newborn deaths and diseases and improve services in the community and the health facilities in which it work by raising the efficiency and skills of service providers.
