Wednesday will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, therefore Thursday will mark the first day of Eid Al Fitr, the Kingdom’s Grand Mufti Abdul Karim Khasawneh announced on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Khasawneh congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah, His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, and the Hashemite family, praying to God to preserve His Majesty and whished him good health and wellness.
Khasawneh also prayed to God to preserve Jordan, its army, security services, medical personnel and Islamic sanctities, calling for God to liberate the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and protect the country from epidemics and pandemics.
