Amman: Northern and Southern Military Zone forces on Monday successfully thwarted three infiltration attempts, apprehending three individuals who were attempting to cross into the Kingdom illegally.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) reported that troops intercepted one suspect on the northern border and two others on the southern frontier. The forces applied the rules of engagement to detain the individuals, who have since been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal proceedings.
The JAF emphasized that the border guard units remain vigilant and are prepared to counter any unauthorized entry or smuggling operations. They reiterated that maintaining the security of Jordan's borders is a top priority and a non-negotiable aspect of the nation's defense strategy.
