Jerusalem:Tens of thousands of worshipers gathered to perform the Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem, amidst increased military measures and restrictions enforced by Israeli occupation forces.
According to Jordan News Agency, thousands of worshipers started arriving at Al-Aqsa Mosque early in the morning to participate in the prayers.
The Israeli occupation forces deployed a significant number of troops throughout the streets of Jerusalem, particularly around the Old City and the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Military checkpoints were established, with numerous young men being stopped, having their identification documents checked, and being prevented from accessing the mosque.
