Symposium on Independence Day in Zarqa camp

The Zarqa Camp Services Committee organized today, Saturday, a seminar entitled “Independence Anniversary and Future Prospects” as part of the Kingdom’s Independence Day celebrations.

The head of the Zarqa camp committee, Muhammad Hisham Al-Borini, stressed that Jordan will remain an impregnable fortress capable of overcoming all obstacles under its Hashemite leadership and the people’s support around it, pointing to the role of His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting the Palestinian cause in international forums and protecting Islamic and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The Secretary-General of the National Constitutional Party, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shannaq, reviewed the stages of the establishment of the Kingdom since the emirate in 1921 under the leadership of His Majesty the late King Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein, may his soul rest in peace. His Majesty laid the foundations of a strong state from the constitution, laws, and establishment of institutions, all the way to complete independence in 1946.

He pointed out that Jordan was launched under the leadership of His Majesty the late King Talal bin Abdullah, may his soul rest in peace, and then His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal, may his soul rest, and a strong and solid state was built for His Majesty King Abdullah II to take over the leadership in 1999, and the era of consolidation and construction for a future begins. better.

Al-Shanaq talked about the bright stations in Jordan’s history and the challenges it faces due to his adherence to the constants of the Hashemites and Jordan’s Arab and Islamic message.

The seminar was attended by a large number of camp residents and the local community in Zarqa Governorate.
