Stakeholders Launch “Your Financial Compass” Initiative to Promote Financial Literacy

Amman: A national initiative aimed at promoting economic awareness and financial literacy was announced on Tuesday, with the Amman Stock Exchange and CFI Jordan throwing their support behind a program designed to strengthen investment culture across the kingdom.

According to Jordan News Agency, the "Your Financial Compass" initiative, implemented by the Al-Dustour Centre for Economic Studies with backing from CFI Jordan, was unveiled at a press conference attended by Mazen Al-Wathaifi, chief executive of the Amman Stock Exchange, Luay Azzar, chief executive of CFI Jordan, and Awni Al-Dawood, president of the Al-Dustour Centre for Economic Studies.

The program, which begins its activities during May, is designed to entrench financial culture and enhance public understanding of economic and investment concepts. It relies on specialized content developed in collaboration with economic experts and will be rolled out across governorates through partnerships with universities, youth organizations and women's groups. The initiative employs an interactive, dialogue-based approach intended to foster deeper financial awareness that translates into better economic and financial decision-making at the societal level.

Al-Wathaifi said the financial literacy initiative represents integrated national efforts targeting all governorates, with a particular focus on women, young people and journalists. He said this focus would help establish sound financial consciousness across the community.
