Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) will roll out an updated version of its mobile application by the end of September, as it moves to improve access to digital services and streamline transactions for beneficiaries. The corporation announced that the majority of its services are already available through its official website, enabling users to access and complete transactions remotely at any time.
According to Jordan News Agency, the SSC will introduce a new assistance service at its branches starting Thursday, as part of efforts to ensure access for users who face difficulties with electronic services. Under this service, staff at SSC branches will assist visitors who are unable to use digital channels to complete and submit their transactions.
The corporation has also clarified that it currently has no licensed external offices authorized to process social security transactions or provide services on its behalf. A framework is being developed to accredit external agents or service offices at a later stage. Accreditation will be subject to specific requirements and conditions aimed at ensuring that services meet the corporation's quality standards.
The SSC stated that details of the accreditation system will be announced once the framework receives formal approval.
