Southern Movement condemns US-UK aggression on Yemen

Yemen's Southern Movement on Monday strongly condemned the American-British-Zionist aggression on Yemen. This aggression blatantly violates the international law and the UN Charter, the Movement said in a statement obtained by Saba. By their assault on Yemen, the aggressive countries show anew disrespect of free countries' will, the statement said, amid misleading claims and lies by the US-led aggressors at the UN Security Council. As it justified its invasion on Iraq in 2003, the American enemy and its allies committed their recent assault under similar pretexts like protection of international shipping in the Red Sea and defense of freedoms, it added, labeling the aggression as a "terrorist act that requires pursuit and trial." This aggression comes after the US-UK-Zionist enemy's failed conspiracy on Yemen, and in payback to the Yemeni pro-Palestine brave stance, the Movement said, noting that "Yemen has full right to response and countering this unfair aggression with every option and means." The US- UK-Zionist enemy and allies are responsible for this hostile adventure, the Movement added, warning against its regional and global consequences. Source: Yemen News Agency
