Amman: The Southern Military Zone thwarted a drug smuggling attempt late Wednesday involving an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) on its western front, in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.
According to Jordan News Agency, Border Guard forces detected the drone, applied rules of engagement, and brought it down inside Jordanian territory. The seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities.
