Social Security Corporation Urges Pharmacies to Register All Employees

Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Sunday called on pharmacies to ensure all their employees are officially registered for social security coverage. The SSC emphasized the importance of this measure for safeguarding employees' rights and ensuring compliance with national regulations.

According to Jordan News Agency, the SSC urged pharmacy owners and authorized managers to visit their local branch to register their businesses or add unrecorded staff. The initiative aims to strengthen the social security network and prevent any legal repercussions for non-compliance.

The corporation warned that non-compliant pharmacies would face penalties under the Social Security Law. As part of this enforcement drive, field inspectors have begun nationwide visits to audit compliance. The SSC also announced that inspection campaigns will soon extend to other commercial sectors, highlighting the broad scope of this regulatory effort.

By ensuring employee registration, the SSC seeks to protect workers and maintain the integrity of the social security system. Pharmacy owners are encouraged to take immediate action to comply with the regulations and avoid potential sanctions.
