Social Security Announces 2025 Wage Adjustment for Voluntary Subscribers

AMMAN: The Social Security Corporation has announced that the annual increase rate for wages subject to social security deductions for voluntarily insured persons will be capped at 10 percent for the year 2025. This adjustment offers flexibility to subscribers who wish to modify their contribution rates for the upcoming year.

According to Jordan News Agency, the corporation clarified that voluntary subscribers have the opportunity to adjust their annual increase rate for 2025 wages between January 1 and February 15, 2025. This window allows subscribers to make necessary changes to their wage contributions, ensuring their social security deductions align with their financial planning for the year.

Subscribers can conveniently access this service electronically through various platforms, including the Corporation’s website, its mobile application, or the government “Sanad” platform. By logging into their personal accounts and selecting the option to modify the annual increase rate under the voluntary subscription services, subscribers can finalize any desired adjustments. If subscribers do not submit a modification request during the specified period, the wages subject to deductions will remain unchanged from the previous year, 2024.

The Corporation emphasized that voluntary subscribers have the flexibility to choose an annual increase percentage ranging from 1 to 10 percent, allowing them to tailor their contributions according to their financial capabilities and goals.
