Amman: Minister of Social Development, Wafa Bani Mustafa, on Monday sponsored a charity iftar organized by the Hareer Humanitarian Organization for orphans, children with disabilities, and cancer patients as part of the organization’s Basmat Amal (Smile of Hope) Iftars campaign during Ramadan.
According to Jordan News Agency, Bani Mustafa praised the initiative as a genuine reflection of social solidarity in Jordan, particularly during the holy month. She emphasized the importance of programs that bring joy to orphans, people with disabilities, and cancer patients, highlighting the participation of Palestinian children from Gaza in the event as a touching humanitarian gesture.
Hareer Organization Director Nihad Dabbas said the initiative is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to support underprivileged children, orphans, and cancer patients through sustainable humanitarian programs that provide care, psychological support, and foster a spirit of giving and community engagement throughout Ramadan.
Dabbas expressed gratitude to the minister and other supporters for their contributions, noting that the gifts provided to children left a lasting impact and brought genuine smiles to their faces.
