Shboul checks on victims’ health conditions in Jerash hospital’s stabbing incident

Secretary-General for Primary Health Care and Epidemiology, Raed Shboul, on Sunday checked on health conditions of six people injured in stabbing attack at Jerash Governmental Hospital.

Shboul said three health workers were targeted in the stabbing incident, indicating that the assault was not the result from scuffle or disputes with any of the hospital’s medical personnel.

The injured are currently receiving medical treatment and follow-up, as 3 cases’ injuries are “minor and the rest are moderate,” he noted.

Meanwhile, he said an injured person needs surgical intervention due to chest bleeding, who was later evacuated to Prince Rashid Hospital, after receiving first aid
