SFD Signs $10 Million Contribution Agreement with AIIB

The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, and Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Danny Alexander signed a contribution agreement today under which the SFD will extend USD10 million to support the bank’s new window financing programs for the least developed member countries.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of AIIB, held this year in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

The agreement aims to assist the AIIB in bridging the financing gap in supporting the infrastructure and other productive sectors in its member countries.
