Amman: Senate Speaker, Faisal Al-Fayez, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Hashemite family, the Jordanian people, and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, which falls on Friday.
According to Jordan News Agency, in a statement issued on Thursday, Al-Fayez expressed his prayers for the health and well-being of His Majesty King Abdullah II and emphasized the King's role as a pillar of strength for the state and the nation. He also prayed for the protection of Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, describing him as the pride of His Majesty, and expressed his hopes for continued prosperity under Jordan's Hashemite leadership.
Al-Fayez conveyed his aspirations for the return of religious and national holidays with Jordan enjoying security, stability, growth, and progress. He also expressed his wishes for the liberation of Palestine from Israeli occupation, an end to the aggression against Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the restoration of Palestine as a free Arab state. Additionally, he voiced his hope for the Arab nation to overcome current security and political challenges.
