Senate Speaker Faisal al-Fayez, on Thursday, was briefed on the National Plan for Sustainable Agriculture (2022-2025), during a visit to the Agriculture Ministry.
In the presence of Head of the Senate Agriculture and Water Committee Senator Akif al-Zoubi and Senator Fadil al-Hmoud, Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat said that the ministry, within the implementation and financing plan, has completed the second quarter and has made progress in most of the activities, initiatives and programs, especially in terms of marketing and investment in partnership with the private sector.
Al-Fayez praised efforts made to implement the plan, stressing that the Senate is following up on implementation process and the permanent review of updates and achievement in order to achieve an optimal application that guarantees a real renaissance for the sector.
