Amman, Senate President Faisal Fayez on Monday discussed with the United Arab Emirates ambassador Sheikh Khalifa Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Al-Nahyan prospects of enhancing Jordanian-Emirati ties to serve the interests of the two nations.
Fayez affirmed the strength of ties between Jordan and the UAE, which are based on mutual respect, indicating His Majesty King Abdullah’s and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s commitment to constantly advance the relations.
For his part, the Emirati envoy praised the high level of “historical Emirati-Jordanian relations” that are based on mutual respect to serve the interests of the two countries.
The meeting tackled the region’s current situation, as well as discussions over establishing new investment cooperation in various fields.
