Senate President Faisal Fayez met with Turkish Ambassador Erdem Ozan on Tuesday over cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Fayez stressed Jordan’s commitment to strengthening relations and maintaining coordination with Turkiye on various issues of common concern, calling for further economic cooperation and the activation of bilateral agreements.
He discussed the current regional situation, reiterating Jordan’s commitment to work towards achieving security and stability and stressing the importance of building Arab-Turkish relations based on mutual respect.
The Turkish envoy said his country is keen on bolstering relations and economic partnership with Jordan and Arab countries.
