Amman: Senate President Faisal Fayez met with Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan Attila Kali to discuss strategies for enhancing Jordanian-Hungarian relations across various fields to serve the interests of both nations.
According to Jordan News Agency, Fayez emphasized the high level of existing ties and reiterated Jordan’s commitment to further developing and expanding cooperation in multiple sectors. The discussions underscored the importance of mutual interests and the potential for collaborative growth.
The meeting also focused on regional developments, particularly the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. Fayez called on the international community to back King Abdullah II’s efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, in accordance with international legitimacy and the two-state solution.
Kali acknowledged King Abdullah II’s significant role in efforts to resolve regional conflicts and restore security and stability. He expressed Hungary’s eagerness to strengthen cooperation with Jordan in all areas, reflecting a shared commitment to regional peace and development.
