Head of the Senate’s Jordanian-Pakistani Brotherhood Committee, Jamal Shawabkeh, met on Wednesday, with Pakistani ambassador to Jordan, Sajjad Ali Khan.

The senator stressed the “deep-rooted” Jordan-Pakistan relations in various sectors, especially parliamentary areas, calling for activating the joint partnership in areas of common interest to serve the two friendly countries’ peoples.

Khan, for his part, stressed the “deep-rooted, historic and distinguished” bilateral relations, pointing to joint coordination on important regional and international issues, and continuous cooperation in all fields and sectors.

The diplomat also lauded the Kingdom’s unwavering stances, under the King’s leadership, towards the Palestinian cause on the basis of the two-state solution, support for the Palestinian people’s rights, and preservation of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem’s Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
