Scholarship and Loan Payments of JD2.5 Million for Public University Students to Begin

Amman: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Thursday the beginning of disbursement for the first phase of scholarship and loan payments for the 2025/2026 academic year, amounting to JD2.5 million.

According to Jordan News Agency, this initial phase involves the disbursement of first-semester payments for continuing students nominated for scholarships in Jordan's northern and central regions. The Student Support Fund will provide these payments to students enrolled at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Tafila Technical University, and the University of Jordan - Aqaba Branch. Additionally, students from Shobak and Aqaba Colleges affiliated with Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) will also benefit.

Eligible students can access their payments starting next Thursday, March 5, 2026, through Cairo Amman Bank branches using their university ID or national ID card. The ministry emphasized that the remaining student payments will be announced and disbursed successively once all necessary auditing and financial procedures are finalized.
