Washington, Saudi PhD candidate at the University of North Texas Amal Haider Al-Shehri and two of her colleagues have won an award for their project "OTZET: Operational Technology Zero Trust Engine for Trustworthiness" at the 2024 Siemens Tech Sustainability through Cybersecurity Challenge in Germany. Al-Shehri said that the project, which competed with 22 others, provides a sustainable solution to cybersecurity challenges. The group's project underwent four stages of review in a 4-month timeframe. The jury included reputed professionals in cybersecurity and academia. Source: Saudi Press Agency
