Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Pakistan have condemned Israel's decision to designate extensive portions of the occupied West Bank as "state property," labeling it as illegal and a serious violation of international law.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, via the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), expressed that the measure aims to establish a new legal and administrative status in the occupied territories, which undermines ongoing regional peace efforts. Saudi Arabia emphasized that Israel lacks sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian land, rejecting actions that contravene international law, weaken the two-state solution, and infringe upon the Palestinian people's rights to establish an independent state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the decision, describing it as a continuation of blatant violations of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions. Kuwait asserted that any annexation of occupied West Bank territory is null and void while reiterating its unwavering support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders. It called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations to prevent further Israeli violations.
Pakistan similarly condemned the "illegal" Israeli actions aimed at imposing unlawful sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories. In its statement, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry highlighted that these actions are a clear breach of international law and UN resolutions, urging the international community to reject and prevent their enforcement. Pakistan affirmed its support for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the formation of an independent state based on pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The collective stance of the three countries highlighted that unilateral Israeli measures pose a threat to the prospects for a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the region.
