Amman: Russia's Energy Ministry announced on Monday that the country's natural gas exports to the European Union saw an increase of approximately 18% during the first half of the year.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry reported that the European Union imported over 9.89 million tonnes of Russian natural gas during this period. The ministry also noted that Russian gas exports delivered via pipelines experienced a 5% increase compared to the same timeframe last year.
The Energy Ministry emphasized that Russia continues to be a dependable energy supplier to international markets and is looking to expand its market presence in the coming years.
