Royal Court Chief Reviews Development Projects in Ajloun

Ajloun:Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi inspected various development and service projects in Ajloun Governorate, including healthcare, disability support, entrepreneurship, and tourism facilities. These projects are part of initiatives directed by His Majesty King Abdullah II, aiming to improve public services, expand employment opportunities, and enhance the governorate's tourism and economic potential.

According to Jordan News Agency, Issawi's inspection was a part of ongoing field monitoring to assess the progress and impact of Royal Initiative projects on local communities. He began the tour at the Potash Inclusive Day Services Center, which provides care and rehabilitation for persons with disabilities. The two-story center, opened in June 2023, offers diverse services such as therapy and skill development, aiming to ease the burden on families by providing services closer to home.

Issawi also visited the Ajloun Business Incubator, which supports young entrepreneurs in transforming ideas into sustainable projects. The incubator, managed by the Royal Scientific Society, focuses on sectors like tourism and agriculture, leveraging Ajloun's competitive advantages. It aims to bolster entrepreneurship by providing training and technical assistance.

In Hashemiyah, Issawi reviewed the construction of a primary health center designed to improve access to medical services. This facility, which has reached 35% completion, is expected to reduce travel needs for healthcare in the region.

Further efforts to develop Ajloun's tourism sector were highlighted by Issawi's visits to the Ajloun Development Area Visitor Center and Ajloun National Park. The park, part of the Tourism Master Plan, is under construction to diversify tourism activities and create local economic opportunities.

Issawi concluded his tour at the historic Government House building in Ishtafina, considering its potential for tourism development. The visit was in response to local calls for its rehabilitation as a heritage site, given its proximity to major attractions.

Issawi emphasized that the inspection tour aligns with His Majesty's directives to monitor project progress and ensure they meet the planned objectives. He reiterated the Royal Initiatives' focus on serving citizens and improving quality of life by addressing priority needs, enhancing service access, and creating job opportunities.
