Amman: The Ministry of Education has announced that registration for the 2025 Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) will commence tomorrow, Sunday, and continue until Thursday, March 27. The Ministry emphasized that the application period will not be extended beyond this date.
According to Jordan News Agency, regular students will obtain their application forms through their schools during the registration period. New private study students for 2025 will need to obtain their application forms by visiting the Education Directorates during the registration period. Students residing outside Jordan can contact Jordanian embassy offices and cultural attach©s in their areas of residence.
The Ministry clarified that students who have not completed graduation requirements and those wishing to improve their grades will register electronically through the website (exams.moe.gov.jo) without needing to visit Education Directorates. Fees must be paid during the announced registration period via eFAWATEERcom through the application or authorized agents.
Non-Jordanian students must visit the Examinations Department at their respective Education Directorate with two recent personal photographs (4€š¬‚¬6 cm) matching their personal identification document after completing the registration and payment processes. The Ministry indicated that regular students and new private study students must provide the following documents with their application: a copy of their personal ID card (civil status card) or passport for Jordanians, a certified copy of passport for non-Jordanians, a certified copy of identification card for children of Jordanian women, or a copy of the security card for Syrian applicants without passports.
Additionally, two recent photographs (4€š¬‚¬6 cm) matching the attached personal document, a copy of military service documentation for male Jordanian applicants who have reached 17 years of age, and for new private study students, original academic certificates and documents or certified copies that permitted them to take the general examination, or the latest transcript of the Secondary School Certificate Examination.
The Ministry outlined the following registration fees: 20 dinars for regular students in public schools, 50 dinars for regular students in private schools. For non-regular students (private study students): 20 dinars examination registration fee plus 10 dinars for each single-paper subject the applicant wishes to take, and 5 dinars for each paper in subjects consisting of two papers.
The Ministry noted that the prescribed textbooks for the 2025 general examination are the regular students’ textbooks for the current academic year 2024/2025 (for students born in 2007).
