Regent Presides Over Graduation Ceremony at Royal Jordanian National Defense College

Amman: Patronizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF), HRH Prince Faisal bin Hussein, the Regent, on Monday led a graduation ceremony of the 23rd National Defense Course at the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Commandant of the College emphasized during the ceremony that the programs and curricula of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College are aligned with the vision and aspirations of His Majesty. The aim is to prepare qualified leaders capable of understanding the comprehensive national security environment and analyzing political, economic, social, and security challenges. The college has implemented the directives of the General Command of JAF into advanced academic programs and curricula that cover various areas of transformation and modernization, expanding the scope of joint military operations.

The Commandant further highlighted that these initiatives support military doctrine and contribute to preparing trained military leaders. Additionally, they qualify leaders in government ministries and institutions, as well as in the armed forces of allied and friendly nations.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Prince Faisal handed diplomas to graduates of the course, which awards a Master's degree in Management and Strategic Studies, along with a postgraduate diploma in National Resource Management. The course participants included officers from various branches of JAF and security agencies, and employees from government ministries and institutions, together with officers from countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tanzania, Indonesia, the United States, and Germany.

His Highness wrote a message in the visitors' book, expressing his pride in the advanced level achieved by students of the college, both militarily and academically. The graduation ceremony was attended by the President of Mutah University, the Directors of General Intelligence and Public Security, the Head of the Civil Service and Administration Commission, and senior officers of JAF and security bodies, along with a number of ambassadors and military attach©s from brotherly and friendly countries.
