Ramtha: Officials in the Ramtha district praised the Public Security Directorate on Wednesday for their “efficiency and professionalism” in handling fugitives and safeguarding the lives and property of Jordanians. A special security force conducted a raid early in the day at a location in Ramtha, where individuals with extremist ideologies had barricaded themselves following investigations.
According to Jordan News Agency, Khaled Al Salem, President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, remarked on the professionalism exhibited by the security bodies in managing recent events. He emphasized the importance of their responsibility in protecting citizens’ lives and property. He also highlighted Jordan’s exemplary status in enforcing security and the rule of law under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing that stability is an essential national priority.
Jamal Abu Obeid, Head of the Ramtha Municipal Committee, commended the security services for their “professionalism and distinguished expertise” in addressing the situation with the outlaws. He described these efforts as a testament to national loyalty and allegiance to the Hashemite throne, noting the precision and planning that characterized the security forces’ operations as the nation’s shield.
The successful raid, which neutralized the threat without any civilian casualties, was lauded as a significant achievement in Jordan’s security history. Walid Al-Quraan, head of the Sahel Houran Municipal Committee, acknowledged the “high professionalism” demonstrated by the security services in their dealings with the outlaws, reinforcing the state’s security strategy in protecting lives. He stressed the importance of a firm response and deterrence against those who threaten national security.
Thaher Al-Balas, Ramtha Director of Health, along with the district’s health center staff, expressed their full support for the security forces’ decisive actions against wanted individuals and lawbreakers. The head of the management committee of the Jordanian Women’s Union also praised the prompt actions of the Public Security Directorate in addressing attempts to destabilize the society.
