QSE General Index Drops 0.61%

Doha, – Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased at the end of trading on Thursday, by 61.04 points, or 0.61 percent, to close at 9,977.23 points.

During today’s session, 141,789,879 shares were traded, with a value of QR 394,928,899.370, as a result of implementing 15,530 transactions in all sectors.

The shares of 8 companies rose during the session, and the prices of 37 other companies fell, while three companies maintained their previous closing prices.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization amounted to QR 585,323,416,66.170, compared to QR 588,799,265,731.810 in the previous session.
