Al-Watan pointed out that the health system in Qatar revolves around the importance of providing comprehensive health coverage for all members of society, improving the health of the Qatari society, meeting the needs of citizens, residents and visitors in terms of quantity and quality, and raising its services to the highest international levels.
The health system in the State of Qatar has become unique and distinguished, and has gained confidence
regionally and globally, Al-Watan concluded.
Under the headline “Improving Health and Well-being of Population,” Al-Arab underlined that Qatar pays great attention to the health sector to become one of the best health systems in the world. To this end, the State is developing the necessary plans by experts and specialists, to meet the needs of all residents and achieve the desired goals.
Al-Arab indicated that the success of the first and second national health strategies 2011-2016 and 2018-2022 was the fruit of this meticulous planning, paving the way for more successes through the Third National Health Strategy 2024-2030.
The new health strategy focuses on three priority areas: improving the health and well-being of the population, excellence in service provision and patient experience, and the efficiency and flexibility of the health system. These areas were identified based on a study of the challenges facing the health sector, the paper pointed out.
