Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani congratulated the Kingdom on its 76th independence anniversary.
In a video clip aired by Qatar’s embassy online, he affirmed the “deep-rooted, historic” relations with Jordan.
In addition, the envoy referred to the “long” decades of partnership between the two brotherly countries under their leaderships aimed to launch “a new chapter in the continued bilateral communication, coordination and cooperation.”
Noting the the two countries’ common positions on the central Palestinian cause, he stressed Qatar’s support for the Hashemite custodianship over Jerusalem’s holy sites.
