Hodeida Governor , Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, and the First Undersecretary of the province, Ahmed Mahdi Al-Bishri, today,Wednesday, inaugurated the project to purchase and deliver heavy agricultural equipment to the General Authority for the Development of Tihama, with funding from the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the province. During the inauguration, Qahim and Al-Bashri, along with the province's deputy for services affairs, Muhammad Halisi, and the director of the unit, handed over to the head of the Tihama Development Authority, three shekels and two buckets at an estimated cost of 240 million riyals, as part of the directions aimed at activating the authority's activity in the agricultural field , implementing water projects and dams. While Agent Halisi urged Tihama Development Authority to take advantage of the support devoted to developing the agricultural sector, by working fruitfully in the field on various tracks in a way that contributes to making the agricult ural areas productive and exporting all the crops of Tihama basket that will enrich the country. In turn, the Director General of the Agricultural , Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in Hodeida, Yahya Al-Wadaei, explained that the delivery of four agricultural equipment to the Tihama Development Authority comes within the framework of strengthening the partnership that serves the agricultural activity, to translate the leadership's directives in this regard. For his part, the head of the General Authority for the Development of Tihama, Ali Hazza, appreciated the interest of the leadership of the local authority in the province and the support of the project financing unit and initiatives to purchase and provide this agricultural equipment, indicating that the authority will work to strengthen its role in agricultural projects.
