Prime Minister, Bisher Khasawneh on Wednesday issued a circular stipulates the return of all public sector employees to work by 100 percent as of Thursday.
According to the circular, all ministries, government departments, public institutions, bodies and authorities, universities, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), municipalities, joint services councils, government-owned companies, companies in which the government has shares, and all entities that currently use the minimum number of employees to maintain work due to the Covid-19 pandemic, must have all their employees return to work by 100 percent as of Thursday, July 1.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to fully comply with defense orders, communiqués, circulars and decisions issued according to them related to wearing masks and public safety procedures, and assigning the Audit Bureau and the internal control units in these bodies to follow up on the implementation of these orders, under liability.
