PTC organizes closing ceremony for restructuring project

The Public Telecommunications Corporation (PTC) organized on Saturday in Sana’a a ceremony to close the restructuring project of the Corporation and honor the work team.

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology in the caretaker government, Eng. Misfer Al-Numair, stressed the importance of the restructuring project of the institution, which represents a strategic path to develop performance, pointing to the need to adhere to and implement the project outputs, processes and regulations.

The ICT Minister urged the directors general and departments to implement the project processes on a daily basis and evaluate the performance every month to detect errors and difficulties facing the work, pointing out the need to pay attention to the branches of the corporation, which is its arm, and the effective infrastructure, and to restructure the tasks entrusted to them.

Minister Al-Numair praised the efforts of the Transition Office led by Engineer Amin Al-Harthi, who had the main role in restructuring
the Foundation, as well as counterparts, consultants, leadership and employees of the Foundation.

The ICT minister pointed out that Djibouti has 9 submarine cables, while Yemen had one submarine cable in 2014, and Yemen currently has three submarine cables.

He referred to the lies promoted by the Zionist media about the bombing of three submarine cables in the Red Sea, considering these propaganda a distortion of the Yemeni position in support of our brothers in Gaza and the Palestinian people, who are subjected to a war of extermination and the most heinous crimes of the Zionist occupation.

He pointed out that targeting Israeli, American and British ships is a legitimate right to deter US-British aggression against our country and support the Palestinian people.
