Amman:The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has issued a warning to Jordanians against the distribution of photos and videos related to a recent terrorist attack that resulted in the death of Corporal Jawad Salayta. The PSD has emphasized that individuals who violate this warning will face legal action across all media and messaging platforms.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Cybercrime Unit has already identified numerous posts containing footage and photos of the tragic incident. A PSD spokesperson highlighted that the circulation of such content disrespects the dignity of the fallen officer and disregards the grief of his family.
The Cybercrime Unit is actively tracking individuals who post or share digital content related to the attack on social media and messaging apps. The unit has affirmed that offenders will be arrested and referred to the judiciary for legal proceedings.
