The Public Security Directorate (PSD) confirmed that it has dealt, so far, with only 7 injuries and two fatalities that were discovered under the rubble of the collapsed building in Jabal Al Weibdeh in Amman, and that it announces injuries immediately.
As for any other injuries that may have been referred to hospitals and were not dealt with by the civil defense teams at the site of the collapse, they will be counted and investigated later, and all injuries caused by the accident will be announced after rescue operations conclude.
Rescue and evacutation teams are still working with full capacity to search and evacuate the trapped, in addition to the use of search dogs by the international search and rescue team, the PSD said in a statement.
