Muwaqqar: Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD), Maj. Gen. Dr. Obeidallah Maaytah, inaugurated the vehicle plate factory at the PSD’s facilities in Muwaqqar district. The factory’s establishment marks a significant step in enhancing the efficiency of local production of license plates.
According to Jordan News Agency, Maaytah emphasized that the project aligns with a comprehensive strategic vision to increase the efficiency of local manufacturing. The production process adheres to international technical and security specifications, which are expected to enhance national manufacturing capabilities.
Maaytah highlighted that the plant’s establishment is based on studies and requirements of the PSD’s Vehicle Licensing Department. The facility is designed to meet high-quality standards, aiming to save time and streamline import procedures. This initiative reflects the PSD’s commitment to developing infrastructure and improving operational efficiency.
The reliance on local manufacturing is expected to reduce costs, save time and effort, and improve the quality of the final product. It also aims to invest in the skilled engineering and technical workers within the PSD’s maintenance department. During his tour of the factory, Maaytah reviewed the operational processes, production lines, and work mechanisms, commending the workers and the efficiency of the equipment used in manufacturing.
