Amman: Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday received Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister Major General Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov at the Prime Ministry. The meeting underscored the depth of relations between the two countries and their mutual commitment to further developing ties across various fields.
According to Jordan News Agency, the talks built on discussions held last month between His Majesty King Abdullah II and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During their meeting, the two leaders oversaw the signing of several bilateral cooperation agreements, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts.
The discussions between the Prime Minister and Major General Kholmukhamedov also addressed ways to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and expand training in defense fields. Both parties expressed a shared interest in enhancing these aspects to benefit the defense capabilities of both nations.
