Planning Minister Engages with British MPs on Economic Partnerships

Amman:Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan on Wednesday met with a delegation of British Members of Parliament and representatives of the Conservative Middle East Council to discuss cooperation and partnership.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing economic and development ties between Jordan and the UK. Toukan expressed appreciation for British support and outlined the government's key priorities under the Economic Modernisation Vision, highlighting ongoing development and investment projects.

She emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships with the private sector and capitalizing on investment opportunities across various priority sectors in Jordan. Additionally, she discussed the upcoming Jordan-Europe Investment Conference, which is set to be hosted by the Kingdom in November, as a platform to foster economic partnerships between Jordan and European countries.
