The House of Representatives, in its session on Tuesday, headed by the Speaker of the Council, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, stood before the ongoing aggression against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, the targeting of public facilities and the capabilities of the Yemeni people, and the intimidation of those who are safe in their homes in the capital secretariat and a number of provinces. In a statement issued by it, the Council denounced the American, British and Zionist attacks on the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, as the Zionist enemy kills hundreds of Palestinians daily, with the support and participation of the head of evil and terrorism in the world, America. The Council considered these attacks to be blatant violations of Yemeni sovereignty and in violation of international laws, charters, and humanitarian and moral norms. He stressed that the attacks carried out by America, Britain and their allies against Yemen are not for the sake of freedom of international navigation in the Red Sea as they cl aim, but rather in defense of the Zionist entity and covering up the massacres and genocidal war crimes it has been committing against the Palestinian people for more than 100 days. The House of Representatives statement stated that while Sanaa repeatedly affirmed that international navigation in the Red Sea is safe except for Israeli ships or ships heading to the Palestinian territories, it indicated that Yemen's position is humanitarian, dictated by ties of brotherhood and faith, and in response to the aspirations of the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world. The House of Representatives called on the heads of parliamentary unions, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the heads and members of Arab, Islamic and international parliaments, free people of the world, humanitarian bodies and organizations, the Security Council and the United Nations to condemn the blatant American-British attacks on the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples and to take serious and decisive positions to stop the American-British Zionist arrogance against Yemen and Palestine. In a related context, the Speaker of the House of Representatives appreciated the honest positions of the Irish Members of the European Parliament, Clare Daly and Mick Wallace. This came in two letters of thanks and appreciation sent in his name, the Presidency and members of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Yemen, and in the name of the Yemeni people, expressing his appreciation for the content of their touching and sincere words against the Palestinian tragedy and the blatant attacks to which Yemen and its people are exposed. Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i noted the keenness of the two members of the European Parliament to stop the bombing in Gaza and Yemen, expressing his pride in those honorable positions that expressed the strong, free humanitarian voice. The Speaker of the House of Representatives said in the two letters, 'We have been informed with all interest of your participation in the European Parli ament session in Strasbourg, France, on the ceasefire in Gaza, and in them you mentioned that Yemen was bombed aggressively and brutally by the 'Butcher Biden.' The two letters presented European Parliament member Daly's description of the attack on Yemen as unjustified, and that it comes within the framework of the American keenness to give the Israeli enemy an opportunity to complete the genocide against the Palestinians, whose victims reached approximately 25 thousand martyrs, most of whom are women and children, and more than fifty thousand wounded, and the displacement of two million Palestinian citizens, in addition to a comprehensive siege, preventing the access of water, food, and medicine to the Palestinian people. The Speaker of the House of Representatives added in the two letters, "We in the Republic of Yemen always reiterate our emphasis on the security and safety of navigation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with the exception of Israeli ships or those heading t o the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories until the crossings are opened and water, food, and medicine enter the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip." He said in his letter addressed to Member of the European Parliament Mick Wallace - Ireland, 'I was honest when I spoke that the Yemeni intervention in the Red Sea did not kill anyone, but rather the purpose was to stop the crime committed by Israel in Gaza,' and its victims reached more than 75 thousand, including martyrs and wounded, and more than two million Palestinian citizens were displaced, and water, food, and medicine were denied to them. The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the sincere positions presented by Irish European Parliament member Mick Wallace in the European Parliament regarding the American and British bombing of Yemen and the killing of civilians with the aim of protecting the movement of Israeli goods that support the genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The Speaker of the House of Representa tives added: 'We agree with you when you say that the European Union's solidarity with the American empire and the Zionists is a disgrace to the European Union.'
