Palestinian wounded after stabbing attack in occupied Jerusalem

Israeli paramilitary police Monday shot and wounded a young Palestinian at the entrance to the Central Bus Station in occupied Jerusalem after stabbing two Jewish settlers.

Israel media said the Palestinian was transferred to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he was in a serious condition.

They said two Israelis in their mid-20s were treated for moderate stab wounds to their upper bodies after the attack, which occurred at a store in Jaffa Street.

They said a so-called “Border Police” patrol arrived at the scene and shot the suspect, who was checked by a sapper before being transferred to hospital.
