Palestinian FM appeals for int’l action to stop Israeli massacres in North Gaza

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Sunday called on the international action to pressure Israel to stop escalating massacres against civilians in the north of the Gaza Strip.

The crimes of ethnic cleansing and brutal bombing by the occupation forces of homes and schools that shelter displaced people, hospitals and aid distribution centers is an unprecedented deepening of the rising genocide against all Gazans, the ministry said in a statement.

It also said periodic reports are submitted on the occupation army’s massacres and crimes of Jewish settlers in the West Bank, especially attacks on olive farmers.

The statement pointed to the international silence over the genocide, just issuing appeals to the Israeli government, taking unimplementable international decisions, or dealing with Palestinian lives as mere figures, are a cover up that is exploited by the occupation authority to carry out its crimes, displace people and turn the Gaza Strip into an unlivable place.

The perpetual Israeli crimes are an unp
recedented disregard for international and humanitarian laws and values, the statement said, stressing that the Palestinian people have not only been a victim of the occupation, but also a victim of the international double standards and failure to implement international legitimacy resolutions.
