Palestinian Ambassador Condemns Terror Plots Targeting Jordan

Amman: Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan, Attallah Khairy, has issued a strong condemnation of terrorist plots devised by extremist groups collaborating with criminal elements outside the Kingdom. These plots aimed to destabilize Jordan by targeting its people, institutions, security agencies, armed forces, and national symbols.

According to Jordan News Agency, Khairy praised the vigilance of Jordan’s security agencies, commending them as “ever-watchful protectors of the homeland and its citizens.” He highlighted their swift and decisive action in thwarting the criminal plans, resulting in the capture and defeat of the terrorists.

Khairy reiterated that these groups would not succeed in undermining Jordan, crediting the courage and wisdom of the Hashemite leadership, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, alongside the determination of Jordan’s security forces and the unity of its people.

He stressed the interconnectedness of Jordan’s and Palestinian security, emphasizing that Jordan’s strength and stability are vital for Palestine. Khairy firmly rejected any attempts to link these terrorist acts with the Palestinian cause, labeling such claims as false and offensive.

The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the exceptional efforts of Jordanian security agencies in dismantling the terror networks and exposing those responsible for financing and arming them. He concluded by reaffirming the solidarity of the Palestinian leadership and people with Jordan, underlining Palestine’s unwavering support for Jordan’s stability and its historic role as a steadfast supporter of the Palestinian cause and rights.
