New Head of Jordanian Academy for Public Administration Sworn In

Amman: The newly appointed chairman of the Jordanian Academy for Government Administration, Dr. Mustafa Hamarneh, took the legal oath of office before Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday. This ceremony marked the formal commencement of his role following the issuance of a Royal Decree that approved the Cabinet's decision to appoint Hamarneh.

According to Jordan News Agency, the oath-taking was conducted in line with Article 24 of the Public Sector Human Resources Management System No. 33 of 2024 and its amendments. The event was attended by Minister of State for Public Sector Development, Badriya Belbisi, and Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Abdul Latif Najdawi.

The Jordanian Academy for Government Administration, recently established as the legal successor to the Institute of Public Administration, is tasked with developing a modern and flexible system aimed at building employee capacities. The academy's mission includes enhancing competencies, improving performance efficiency within public sector institutions, and expanding access to training opportunities.
