Nehm Customs Center in Sana’a destroys five tons of prohibited & expired goods


Nihm Customs Center in Sana’a province destroyed today,Tuesday, a quantity of prohibited, expired and unauthorized goods.

The center’s director, Youssef Ali Al-Amari, explained that the amount of goods destroyed amounted to five tons of prohibited and expired goods, as well as immoral goods that contradict Islamic values.

He pointed out that the destroyed goods included many items, including electronic hookahs, clothes, and candy bearing offensive slogans that contradict religion , morals, and containing phrases in Hebrew.

He also, pointed out that the destruction process was carried out by burning in the presence of representatives of the relevant authorities and in accordance with the instructions and laws in force.

Al-Amari stressed that the center will not be lax in seizing various expired, prohibited, and unauthorized goods entering the country in the interests of the nation and the health and safety of citizens.

He also, pointed out that customs is considered the first line of defense and always s
tands against anyone who dares to harm the country by bringing in these goods that are harmful to the national economy and the Yemeni identity.
