Amman: Secretary-General of the Ministry of Government Communication, Dr. Zaid Nawaiseh, emphasized the importance of promoting media and information literacy to combat fake news during his meeting with a UAE delegation. This meeting was part of the “Diplomatic Leadership” program, organized by the Sharjah Training and Development Center of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with the Best Practice Training And Management Consultancy in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Jordan News Agency, Nawaiseh highlighted the ministry’s efforts to advance the Kingdom’s media and communication system. He stressed that developing a competent media landscape is a crucial aspect of enhancing the media and communication framework. Nawaiseh praised the cooperation between Jordanian and UAE media, noting it as a reflection of the strong bilateral relations. He advocated for leveraging the media expertise of both countries to foster further development in media and communication.
