Director-General of National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), Nizar Haddad, on Sunday discussed with Bulgarian Ambassador, Dimitar Mihaylov, future cooperation in many agricultural fields.
Speaking at the meeting, Haddad stressed the importance of coordination aimed to network with global institutions and discuss future cooperation prospects in many agricultural fields, especially in relation to integrating scientific research outcomes, in the energy, agriculture and climate change fields.
In addition, Haddad indicated the importance of exchanging technical expertise between the two countries and benefiting from Bulgari’s record in the agricultural fields, especially cultivation of medical plants, foremost lavender.
Mihaylov, for his part, referred to the NARC’s “pioneering” role in transferring modern agricultural technology and consolidating entrepreneurship through its agro-innovation incubator, stressing keenness to further enhance cooperation bridges with NARC in all fields.
