Mutah University Strengthens Arab Academic Ties at Kuwait Conference

Kuwait City: Mutah University, represented by its president, Salameh Al-Naimat, participated in the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, held recently in Kuwait. The conference was centered around the theme “Regional Integration and Digital Transformation in Arab Higher Education,” and saw the participation of over 250 Arab universities.

According to Jordan News Agency, Mutah University signed several academic cooperation agreements on the sidelines of the conference with prominent Arab universities, including Jinan University in Lebanon and the International University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. These agreements aim to develop joint academic programs, facilitate student and faculty exchanges, and implement research and training projects that contribute to sustainable development.

Al-Naimat highlighted the strategic importance of these agreements for the university, noting that they represent a significant step towards building effective Arab partnerships. This move is expected to open new horizons for scientific cooperation and foster a competitive and advanced academic environment.

He also took part in various dialogue sessions and coordination meetings during the conference, addressing key issues related to the development of higher education, enhancement of academic programs, and the promotion of scientific research.
